Day #2 - Having a Great Time

This morning we woke up, got ready, and went down to eat breakfast before starting the rest of our journey to New Jersey. The kids especially enjoyed the fish tank in the wall and the concept of choosing from several different breakfast items. We don't sleep in hotels very often, so this was new and fun for them...

Our first stop was at lunchtime to get gas and eat. Here we are posing for a picture along the Pennsylvania Turnpike...

Our next stop was in Harrisburg to see one of Sean's aunts. She works at a very cool jewelery store!!

Here are the girls trying on some rings...

They wanted to get a picture with Aunt Serena...

This was the first meeting for Evan too...

And I think the girls are going to like pretty things just like mommy...

What fun it was to be able to spend some time with Aunt Serena. She even cleaned our rings for us while we were there. It's AMAZING what a little bit of TLC will do for a ring. Ours look great! Thanks Aunt Serena!

Then we headed to our hotel for the next five days, and yes, it was bath-time for all five kiddos....of course, I did that while Sean ran to Wal-Mart to get pink-eye medicine for Erin....yep, that's what I said. We had to hurry because they closed at 9:00 p.m. and it was already 8:15 p.m. when I called the Dr. So glad we made it because tomorrow we are going to see the Statue of Liberty and see NYC!! Anyway, here is a picture of the bath boy in the aftermath...he loves his bath!

Daddy brought back pizza for us to eat for dinner....well, it was almost a mid-night snack, but it sure was good.

Tomorrow we will be up bright and early to leave Clinton and catch the New York Waterway Ferry to Manhatten. We are so excited and I can hardly wait! I will update again as I have time, but for now, we are having a great time!
