Picture Day!
This morning was perfect weather for pictures. I went the easy route with Justin and Caleb and ordered school pictures this year, but the girls have so many cute outfits, I just couldn't resist taking them again this year. We only had one crying episode from Emma, and Erin didn't think she could smile by the end, but we made it through with flying colors! Here are my favorites from the morning. If you have any favorites let me know. I will be ordering pictures soon! Please note that these have not been cropped yet. They are fresh from the camera.

Families Are the Best
Last weekend we had a cookout at PMO for all the families of the students. We had over 400 people attend the pre-game lunch. We had a fun time meeting new parents and eating wonderful food! It was also nice to catch up with parents we hadn't seen in awhile. We took a group shot of the Purdue Bells with the families that were able to attend. Thanks for coming and Hail Purdue!

Purdue Bells & Purduettes at Moe's
Tonight was the Purdue Bell's first performance at Moe's on the Levee. The Purduette Trio plus a few extra girls joined us in singing as we rang "Hail Purdue", "The Purdue Hymn", and "For the Honor of Old Purdue". We began our time at Moe's by singing "Happy Birthday" to the manager. Happy Birthday, Arianna!

WAZY was at Moe's tonight doing a promotion for Purdue football, so we were able to play and sing for many people in the Lafayette area...OK, so I have to tell you that I got to talk to the radio. The cool thing was that I spoke into a cell phone and then heard myself about five minutes later on the radio! It doesn't take much to get me excited!

I have a wonderful group of outgoing students in Bells this year...

Way to go Purdue Bells and congratulations to many of you on a first concert well done!
Sean also had his first concert of the LSO season last Sunday evening. It was an outdoor event...the weather was beautiful and it was a good way to kick off the season...

Purdue Bell Camp
Last weekend we had camp for the Purdue Bells. This year we focused on teambuilding activities and basic PMO and Purdue Bells orientation. On Friday night we had an etiquette dinner at The Olive Garden. It was fabulous, as we brushed up on manners and had a fun time getting know each other. On Saturday, we met at PMO for a wonderful breakfast brought in by Purdue Bell Alumni. They are the best. Here is a picture of Blaine digging in...

One of our activities was breaking into group to learn table songs. Breanne is working with her group...

Lunch was catered by Moe's...it was so yummy...and then we were off to the low ropes course were we worked together as a team to complete different activities, like walking on a cord fastened between two tress...Come on people....balance...

trusting out team to catch us even though we are falling from great heights...

being lifted through a "spiderweb"...

and balancing on a teeter-totter log...

We had a blast and ended the evening with a dinner out at Lafayette Brewing Company with PMO Director Bill Griffel and family and Sean and the kids. Here's to a great year!

Camping at Springhills - Part 3 - Everything Else
Here are some pictures of the kids playing on the Aqua Gym...

They had a concert on the last night...

We had a lot of fun staying in the tepees...

Then, the boys decided they would try their hand at the Solo Challenge. They do kind of look like monkeys, don't they?
Caleb...

Justin...

Sean...

Troy...

Erin climbed all the way to the top of the rock wall and cried all the way down...

Leanna and I don't get to spend a lot of time together. We live almost an hour apart, and have busy families. We had a great time watching our families play together and just spending time with each other. Love ya, Nanner!
