What a Deal!

Today the girls and I are stocking up on items that we need when the baby is born. We are mostly purchasing food items so Nena and Poppy won't have to do a lot of shopping while they are here. Our first stop this morning was Sam's Club. This is a fairly routine stop....we picked up some dried apricots, raisins, craisins, bacon, turkey, etc.....

We were quickly in line and had our items on the belt for purchase when the lady in front of me said that she was buying Easter candy for only 81 cents a bag. It didn't take me long to reload my cart from the belt and look for the clearanced candy. This is what we found...

We bought 12 bags of candy (3 for mom's daycare) and only spent $9.72!!! That is so crazy, I couldn't believe it! You may be wondering what on earth we are going to do with all that candy....M&M's, Skittles, Starbursts.....

I can think of plenty....baseball team treats & birthday celebrations at school are just two ideas. I can probably even freeze the chocolate for Easter next year. I just love deals like this!

Surprise!!

Today I was thrown a surprise baby shower by the Purdue Bells. I had no idea....can you tell?

After rehearsal Breanne and I headed down the four flights of stairs, finished putting postage on some thank you notes and was on our way out the door when she said something about her boyfriend leaving something in the lounge. I had no clue...

They decorated the PMO lounge, had food and punch, balloons, gifts....what a surprise! Sean was in on it too.

Thank you so much for the wonderful surprise, Purdue Bells! Love you all!

How I'm Looking These Days

So, we only have 6 weeks left to go and quite honestly, I feel like a giant marshmallow. For those of you who are curious, here are some pictures from this weekend....I'm still growing, and I hope I don't pop because some days it sure feels like I could!

Purdue Bells End of the Year Banquet

We had a great time on Friday evening celebrating the end of another great year of Purdue Bells. We had alumni and staff join us for a small concert, presentation of awards, and dinner. Thanks to a great year!

Easter Activities

This weekend we had fun doing a lot of Easter activies. On Saturday night we dyed eggs. I think mine turned out pretty good...

The kids really had fun this year and could do a lot of the dying themselves. It looks like we will be eating lots of eggs this week...you have to look past the titanic to see the kids... :)

Ready for church on Sunday morning...

Easter presents and egg hunt with the family...

Poppy is cleverly hiding some eggs...

We hope your family had a great Easter.

56 Days and Counting

Today marks week 31....we have 56 days to go! Everyone is doing fine, but I have to say that I love taking naps and I continue to organize things around the house in hopes of having everything in order on the big day. Here's what I look like with 8 more weeks to go...

Sean's work had an Easter Egg Hunt yesterday. This was our 11th year in a row to take the kids. It's hard to believe that Justin has been to every Lilly Egg Hunt since he was 10 months old! Here is the annual bunny picture...

And other pictures from the morning...the kids got to pet some animals (one was a snake), get their faces painted, and of course...the big Easter scramble...
