This morning was Emma and Erin's first T-ball game and it was a hoot! Both girls were able to hit the ball but I still think we have a little work to do since Emma ran to third base instead of first and Erin would just stand there and hold the bat after she hit the ball. Here are some pics from the morning...

And me, watching the game...

I also wanted to show you all that it's official. C-section is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Monday morning and here's my bracelet to prove it...

First Big Swim of the Season

Today we had a little bit of time this afternoon to go swimming. Well, maybe I should rephrase that....the kids had time to go swimming and I watched from the sidelines. The water was super cold so I didn't think it would be in my best interest to take the plunge. It's always fun watching thd kids swim the first time of each season. Here are some shots from the afternoon...

Trip To Fair Oaks Dairy Farm

Today we went with Justin's class to Fair Oaks Dairy and had a great time. It was interesting to see how the farm operates. Here is the pile of fermented corn that they use to feed the cows...

We saw lots of cows...

And a picture of the rotating wheel that they use to milk the cows...

We also stopped for a group shot by the BIG ear of corn...

All three kids got a chance to put the milkers on the cows (pretend cows, of course!)

We also watched a 3D movie that squirted water in your face...

and watched a calf being born....be advised the next few pictures are very real and show nature taking it's course...

After seeing this, I'm glad having a C-section is my only option! Hopefully we will get a chance to go back again and take everyone. If you've never been, check it out....it's well worth the short drive to get there.

Life Is Good

Life is good when you find some time to fill up the baby pool and watch the first swim of the season...

Life is good when you can sit by the pool and watch your girls swim while your feet are propped on their pool...

Life is really good when your mom takes the old toenail polish off and paints your toes for you...

and they look AWESOME!!! Thanks mom!

My Baby Has a Boo-Boo

Last night my girls were practicing hitting the ball off the T while the boys were taking their showers. I had just walked outside to tell them it was their turn but decided to check the garden first. I didn't make it halfway out to the garden when I realized Emma had accidentally hit Erin in the head with the metal bat....my first suspicion....lots of BLOOD! I personally didn't think I could run anymore (being over 8 months pregnant), but I proved myself wrong! I darted across the yard to find lots of blood, so I did what any good mother would do and covered it with my hand, then a paper towel, and proceeded to call my neighbors to see who would like to come look at it...because I didn't want to look myself. Well, no one was home, so I had to look very quickly and then decided to call Sean (who was at Lowe's). He came home and said....yes....to the ER you go. It was a long three hour wait, but we got home a little after 11:00 p.m. Here is a picture of the boo-boo with three stitches...

And a picture of Erin with her new ring...she didn't even cry when they numbed the crater in her head...

Hopefully we have learned our lesson about metal bats!

On a lighter note, here is the shirt that the Purdue Bells made me...very creative...

Happy 13th Anniversary!

Yesterday Sean and I celebrated our 13th Anniversary. Well, I say we celebrated, but we spent the time at Justin's ballgame (which they won, by the way). When all the kids were in bed we had a bowl of ice-cream and went to bed! Not too fancy, but just how we tend to do things....we just like being together.

Haircuts, Ice-cream, and a Ballgame

We are constantly doing things to get organized and ready for the newest member of our family to arrive. Today I took the girls to get their hair cut. This was new to them as they have never had their hair cut by anyone but me. Needless to say, they had a great time...

When we were finished with the hair cuts, we went to get ice-cream (it came free with the hair cut).

Then the girls posed for a picture with their new doos...

Then we were off to Caleb's ballgame...we ate dinner at the park and instead of hauling everything to the field, we tailgated while Caleb's team warmed up...

Caleb's team won...yea!! He hit a double and even was able to score a run...go Caleb...

My Rocking Chair

The other day, when the girls and I went to garage sales, we found more than just bottles! I found the perfect rocking chair that I have wanted for A LONG TIME!! It just need a little TLC and it would be perfect. So, the kids got to work sanding and vacuuming all in an effort to help Daddy out. I was sleeping when they started so I had no idea that they were working on the chair...

And I got to work painting when they were done, even though I didn't feel like it.....

but it was worth it to see the final project...

I have enjoyed sitting in this chair more than you can imagine. It's in the perfect spot to watch the kids ride their bikes or play in the front yard. I love my chair!

Another Party

Recently my co-workers at PMO threw a "Baby Celebration" party. They were so creative and very good to me. I was very impressed with the food and the fact that the sour cream was baby blue!

They also showered me with many gifts that will come in handy when the baby arrives. This baby is in good shape with all of these things...

Thanks guys, for a wonderful party!
