It's Time to Post

I just realized that it has been awhile since my last post. I have been very busy coming off of Christmas Show this week (I talk about it like it's some type of drug - ha!), but Christmas Break has officially begun and I am very excited about that! Here are some pictures of a few things we have been up to this week...

We were able to attend Justin's program this week at school. They performed "Rats!, The Story of the Pied Piper". It was very entertaining, to say the least!



The girls also made reindeer for lunch one day...





We also took some pictures of Evan in his monkey outfit...





And who knows what Daddy has been up to...



There is less than a week until Christmas, and I hope to be able to post something everyday from now until then....at least that is the goal. We'll see how that goes!

My New Toy

Evan got his new toy today....his jumperoo!! I purchased it from this wonderful lady on Ebay and it just arrived this afternoon. Between the Wiggles and the jumperoo, Evan is pretty much lovin' life right now!! Yay for me!! I should be all caught up with everything I need to do soon....and that's a good thing since Christmas Show is right around he corner!!

Visit to Santa

Today we went to the Lilly Christmas Party. We had fun seeing Santa and telling him all our wishes. This was the 12th year that we have seen this Santa and Mrs. Claus so it continues to be a tradition with our family. We hope Sean's new employer continues supporting these fun activities for our children. They had a great time. Here are some pictures from the day...

He thought he needed to see what was going on while we were standing in line. He wouldn't look at me to take the picture. He just had to peek around me to see what he could find...



He did a great job sitting in Santa's lap...not a tear...



but I do have to admit, he thought that pulling Santa's beard was great fun! Poor Santa!

On Stage

This week we are rehearsing on stage in the Elliott Hall of Music at Purdue University. Evan and the girls have joined me on several occasions and we are having lots of fun! Be sure to get your tickets and come to the show. It's going to be the best show yet!

Christmas Time is Here!

This morning it is snowing outside and it is so pretty to see. I just hope it doesn't stick around for too long....don't get me wrong, I love snow....just not too much of it! It has gotten pretty crazy around here this week and I probably won't have time to do many posts, so I thought I would load some pictures of what Christmas at the Beimfohr house looks like so far. We have had a lot of fun getting ready for Christmas and now our focus is on the Purdue Christmas Show. Come if you can...it's going to be a great show!

6 Months Old

Evan is 6 months old today! The time has flown by so fast, but we are taking every opportunity we have to play and have fun with our newest addition to the family. This week is especially busy with Purdue Christmas Show preparation, but I wanted to post this before I go to bed. We are so blessed to have such a precious baby...





This month Evan...

Grew a top tooth
Blows spit bubbles
Cackles and laughs uncontrollably
Eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Has tried rice cereal, pears, peaches, bananas, applesauce, peas, green beans, and sweet potatoes - he loves them all!!
Can go from being extremely happy to mad in less than a second
Gets very excited when he sees mommy after she comes home from rehearsal
Will drink from a bottle
Sleeps through the night most of the time
Is wearing 9 month clothes
Tries very hard to sit up
Loves to play in the exersaucer and jumperoo
Has graduated from the newborn nursery at church
Is sleeping in his crib in his room with Emma and Erin
Plays with his bath toys in the tub and splashes EVERYWHERE!!

What a fun 6 months it has been. Now, to get through Christmas Show and enjoy Christmas being home...yay - it's been a crazy semester! And, I just realized I did not post a 5 month update....so sad! I did, however, take a picture for the baby book, so I'm safe there. Yikes! I guess I need to add this to may calendar, if I can find room - ha!
