6 Months Old

Evan is 6 months old today! The time has flown by so fast, but we are taking every opportunity we have to play and have fun with our newest addition to the family. This week is especially busy with Purdue Christmas Show preparation, but I wanted to post this before I go to bed. We are so blessed to have such a precious baby...





This month Evan...

Grew a top tooth
Blows spit bubbles
Cackles and laughs uncontrollably
Eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Has tried rice cereal, pears, peaches, bananas, applesauce, peas, green beans, and sweet potatoes - he loves them all!!
Can go from being extremely happy to mad in less than a second
Gets very excited when he sees mommy after she comes home from rehearsal
Will drink from a bottle
Sleeps through the night most of the time
Is wearing 9 month clothes
Tries very hard to sit up
Loves to play in the exersaucer and jumperoo
Has graduated from the newborn nursery at church
Is sleeping in his crib in his room with Emma and Erin
Plays with his bath toys in the tub and splashes EVERYWHERE!!

What a fun 6 months it has been. Now, to get through Christmas Show and enjoy Christmas being home...yay - it's been a crazy semester! And, I just realized I did not post a 5 month update....so sad! I did, however, take a picture for the baby book, so I'm safe there. Yikes! I guess I need to add this to may calendar, if I can find room - ha!
