My Coupon Binder and Stuff

Many people have been asking me how I organize all my coupons. It has been a process, but I have found that keeping all my coupons in a binder inside of baseball card holders works nicely. It takes a little more time organizing after I cut the coupons, but it is so fast to look for a coupon now, instead of sifting through an entire category stack each time I'm looking for a particular coupon.

I have color coded inserts inbetween each category that I can stick special coupons in if I know I will be using them soon. I think my new binder looks much nicer than the older one.

Meijer has some fantastic deals this week. I got Chex Mix, Bagel Bites, Land O Lakes butter, frozen veggies, and baby soap for FREE. My favorite find of the week though, has to be the Fruit Chillers for .49 cents each! Yay...these will be awesome for this summer and another positive....you don't have to store them in the freezer until right before you want to eat them! These will be good for the hot baseball games coming soon!

When I dropped the kid's off at school this morning, I thought I would take a picture of the girls walking to the building. I have a picture of Justin running into the school when he was in kindergarten or first grade and I love it! I caught him in mid air! The girls weren't running, but they were holding hands, which is very unusual for them. What a sweet memory this will be for them one day!

And yesterday, when I went into Evan's room to get him up, this is what I found!!

He was quite proud of himself too!

Before I sign off for the day, I wanted to leave you with a picture of my stack of coupons that I used at Meijer this week. They has so many good sales....it was incredible....I saved between 75% and 85%!! If you are wondering why I can't give you an exact number....well...my order froze the computer, so they couldn't give me my original receipt with all my savings numbers on it. But hey, at least we didn't have to ring it all up again and scan all the coupons twice. I'm thinking that would have been a nightmare. And this is for the record, that the people at Meijer are awesome!! They treated me like a queen and got everything figured out quickly. I LOVE Meijer...I just hope they love me too!

Now, that's a lot of trees!

Great Job! I'm curious what's the biggest stack in the envelope with the paperclip? Also do you do seperate orders because at least at MY Meijer we can only use 2 identical coupons, which is definately worth another transaction VS. anothe trip. How many computers do you print from? I have 3 I print from at times if it's a good coupon. LIKE FREE Steamers.

They have just started limiting to 6 identical internet coupons of the same item a day, or transaction...I'm still not sure which. Every cashier has different rules, so it's hard to really know what the rules are...I'm sure you know what I mean! I only have 2 computers to print from, but I get plently of coupons to keep us stocked up at the moment. I just told Sean not too long ago, that if I keep saving this much money, he may have to go buy me another computer since I'm paying for it over and over. The netbooks are pretty inexpensive, especially if I'm going to use it mainly to print coupons and internet. I guess we'll just have to see what happens on that.

Oh, I forgot....the ones with the paperclips are the 10 for 10, 11th free. I had 10 Chex mix and several BC Potatoes, so I had to split them up into different groups. Sean helped me so we only had to make one trip. I still can't believe I used all those coupons this week! We are stocked up!

I got 15 or 20 potatoes last time for free. I had so many I gave to our church food pantry.
